Join artist and history enthusiast, Cleo Lake from Active Archives, for an exclusive screening of a presentation by Dr Marie Charles that uncovers the ancient Black rulers of Europe, the truth about our ‘European’ surnames and the ongoing attempts of whitewashing and erasing our history. Dr Marie Charles is turning knowledge upside down in the quest to reassert a corrected history and therefore sense of identity and belonging in Europe for people of African descent and others interested in truth.
Following the screening Cleo will lead a creative session to assist with processing the information and strategies to embody and preserve the knowledge.
