At Diverse Artists Network (DAN) we are deeply committed to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the arts and cultural sector. We believe that a vibrant arts community thrives on the richness of varied perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds. As a development agency for diversity in the arts, we strive to build pathways for underrepresented artists and creatives across Bristol and the South West, ensuring that their voices are not only heard but celebrated.

Based on evidence, we recognise that systemic barriers have historically marginalised many individuals and communities within the arts. To address this, we actively work towards creating a more equitable and just cultural industry. We are dedicated to increasing representation among underrepresented artists, evolve inclusive practices, and promote collaboration that celebrates the diverse tapestry of our society.

Through our artistic and creative mentoring, networking events, consulting services, and initiatives like the DIASPORA! festival, we provide platforms, resources, and opportunities for collaboration and growth.
