Queendom Rising is a new photography exhibition by Bristol-based photographer George Netana celebrating women from Bristol’s diverse diaspora communities. This portrait series is inspired by the artist’s lived experience as a mother of Māori daughters growing up in diaspora, and explores how identity, belonging, and cultural memory are formed and sustained across generations and geographies.
