About Liz Ikamba
Liz Ikamba is a British-Congolese artist whose music fuses Congolese folk, jazz, dub-reggae, soul, and hip-hop. Her sound, reminiscent of Nina Simone, Sade, and Erykah Badu, weaves powerful diasporic narratives. As a trauma-informed vocal leader and inclusive arts facilitator, Liz promotes Creative Health, community healing, and empowerment through music. She is passionate about reclaiming singing as a birthright and restoring playfulness as a creative force. Her practice supports wellbeing and builds bridges across diverse communities, encouraging collective expression and emotional release through voice. Liz’s workshops are grounded in care, joy, and connection.
