About Nervio Cosmico
Nervio Cosmico (Matteo Amadio & Daniel Linker) is an experimental music duo based in Bristol, formed in 2021 by Chilean composer Daniel Linker and Italian sound artist Matteo Amadio. Their unique sound fuses handmade acoustic instruments inspired by ancient South American and shamanic traditions with live looping and electronic textures. Through their sonic explorations, they aim to express spiritual and emotional states—from blessings and deep connections to moments of struggle and existential crisis. Nervio Cosmico’s immersive performances are meditative journeys that embrace the full spectrum of human experience, offering audiences a profound and moving soundscape.

Performance AttendeeNervio Cosmico curated an ancestral electroacoustic soundscape journey for 35 people in my Bristol home in January 2024.
They produced a remarkable and exceptional collaboration, integrating music, reflection, explanation, and interpretative dance drawing on indigenous South American tradition and experience, and western electro-acoustic music. The musicianship, connection, sensitivity and warmth were all stunning, altogether this was a totally memorable experience. The evening was everything I imagined it might be.
