Lebanese artist Mounira Al Solh invites you into a vivid world where ancient mythology collides with contemporary experience. In this exhibition, she poignantly and playfully navigates a multitude of complex themes such as identity, migration, trauma, inequality and gender.

This multidisciplinary exhibition includes her critically acclaimed Venice Biennale pavilion installation A Dance with her Myth from 2024, taking visitors on a journey through Middle Eastern mythology to contemporary times.

ABOUT MOUNIRA

Mounira Al Solh is a Lebanese visual artist born in 1978, whose multidisciplinary practice spans video, painting, drawing, embroidery and installation. Her work often explores themes of migration, displacement, identity and the political turmoil affecting the Middle East, particularly Lebanon and Syria.
