Join the Diverse Artists Network (DAN) on Thursday, 11 September, 6pm-9pm, at the St Paul’s Learning Centre, BS2 8XJ, for an interactive, group conversation about division and community resilience. Please arrive at 5.30pm for a 6pm start.
In the wake of the far right riots of last summer, and the rise of populist fascism both here in our country and elsewhere, DAN would like to create a safe space where people can speak freely, and be heard and understood. Through facilitated conversation and creative workshop elements, this session will explore questions like:
- How can we come together in community?
- What do people feel they need to say within a safe space?
- And how can we use creativity to help people heal and connect to themselves and each other?
