Internal Conversations

Ten African and Caribbean women across generations come together to sit, reflect and speak, opening a rare and intimate window into the stories, tensions and wisdom that pass between us.
This workshop, led by Odiri Ighamre, marks the launch of Internal Conversations, a living exhibition woven from visual interviews, personal testimony, photography, academic insight, film and performance. In a supported and facilitated space, participants are invited to slow down, turn inward and respond honestly, to each other and to the moments that have shaped them.
A small audience is welcomed into the room, and alongside a visiting artist, will have the opportunity to join the conversation as it unfolds. Book your place below to be a part of that audience.
Venue: Equiano Room, Bristol Old Vic, BS1 4ED
Age: 16+
