About Rubba Riddims
Rubba, a maestro of Traditional African Dance, brings nearly five decades of experience. As a founding member of Ekome Arts and the Adzido Pan African Dance Ensemble, he helped shape African dance in the UK. In 1996, he founded AFIDANCE, creating workshops that bridge education and community. His dynamic teaching draws from a rich tapestry of African dances, encouraging students to connect naturally with their bodies. Committed to holistic well-being, Rubba offers transformative experiences that inspire joy, movement, and cultural connection. Through performance and education, he invites everyone to discover and celebrate the vibrant, healing world of African dance.
