This creative workshop explores Armenian culture, language and memory through contemporary dance improvisation. Each letter becomes an inspiration for movement and each sound carries a memory. Participants embody the shapes, rhythms and resonances of the Armenian alphabet, transforming letters and words into living dance phrases.

Through individual and collective exploration, the workshop invites people of all ages and experience levels to discover how language, sound and memory can move through the body.

Age: 7+ (under-16s must be accompanied by an adult)

About Lerna

Lerna Babikyan is a movement-based artist, educator and writer who believes in the transformative power of dance and creativity. With a background in dance, adult education and ecology, her work explores the deep connections between identity, memory and the natural world.

This session will take place in the theatre on the ground floor.
