ABOUT INDIAN MAN
Indian Man is a Bristol-based producer, DJ, and multidisciplinary artist blending electronic music with South Asian heritage, intergenerational storytelling and forward-thinking cultural narratives.
Releasing music through Real World Records, the label founded by Peter Gabriel, Indian Man’s work sits at the intersection of global sounds and contemporary electronic production. His music draws on archival recordings, traditional rhythms, and modern club influences, creating a sound that feels both deeply rooted and future-facing.
Beyond music, Indian Man is building a wider creative universe centred around his grandmother and the preservation of South Asian culture. His upcoming project Cook Like My Indian Grandma, supported by chefs including Matt Tebbutt and Anjula Devi, extends his artistic vision into food, storytelling and community, exploring themes of identity, migration and intergenerational connection.
His work has been featured by BBC platforms and supported by leading voices across food and music, positioning him as part of a new wave of artists redefining how culture is shared and experienced across disciplines.
