Knowle West Dreams: Celebration Event

We’ve spent the past few months chatting to the community to find out their dreams for themselves and Knowle West. Join us in celebrating the project.
Performances, activities, and a Dreams Fair where you can find out how to land your dream job or vocation!
All free, all ages welcome. Free meal from Square Food Foundation – vegan and gluten-free!

Accessibility:
General access
- The venue is wheelchair accessible, with level access at both the main entrance and the day care entrance.
- Motorized scooters are welcome in public areas of the venue.
- Staff receive disability awareness training, and a bowl of water can be provided for assistance dogs.
- The center does not play background music.
Parking and entrances
- Free parking is available in an open-air car park in front of the main entrance.
- The car park has designated parking bays for Blue Badge holders.
- There are ramps from the car park to the main entrance, so wheelchair users may need assistance.
- The main entrance door has an intercom at a suitable height for wheelchair users and is a heavy single door.
- The day care entrance has automatic double doors.
Internal facilities
- There is a low reception desk with a hearing assistance loop system.
- Level access is provided throughout the ground floor.
- A platform lift can be used to access different levels within the center.
- Accessible toilets with sufficient turning space for a wheelchair user and grab rails are available on the ground floor.
- A “Changing Place” facility with an adjustable changing bench and a powered overhead hoist is also available on the ground floor.
Communication and services
- Large print versions of documents can be requested.
- A staff member with British Sign Language (BSL) skills can be requested, but one is not normally on duty.
