Red Dress Crafters & Raising the Red

Red Dress Crafters are a diverse group of women and young people aged 14 and over, led by artist Ros Martin. They come together to decorate and message second-hand red dresses in memory of women and girls killed or missing through violence. Members work together or independently at home, and finished dresses are exhibited outdoors in trees as a guerrilla installation.
Join us on 5 May for Red Dress Day in Totterdown, Bristol. Come and craft with other women in an informal drop-in space. No previous experience needed.
Contribute to and see Raising the Red, a guerrilla outdoor exhibition of red dresses installed locally across the Totterdown area, marking sisterly solidarity with Canadian indigenous women killed and missing through violence.
Venue: The Harbour Totterdown, BS4 2EG
Age: 14+
